Emmalyn Tringali, a representational painter and art educator, was raised in a small town in the Bay Area of Northern California. Her love of art led her to pursue painting at Laguna College of Art + Design (LCAD). While there, Emmalyn had the opportunity to study abroad at the Florence Academy of Art where she completed the Intensive Drawing Program. She graduated from LCAD in May 2015 with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art. During her last year of school, Emmalyn began teaching art classes for young artists and found a passion for arts education.
In the years following, Emmalyn continued teaching children’s art classes, believing that by creating something with their own two hands, children are empowered to be themselves and learn that what they do really matters. Additionally, having studied art as an adult herself, Emmalyn understands how powerful art experiences can be for people of all ages. Emmalyn has always believed in the connective power of art, and she is so excited to be part of such a wonderful community of creative minds at the Orange Art Center.
