About OAC

Situated in a serene park setting and nestled in the woods just outside Orange High School in Pepper Pike, the Orange Art Center (OAC) is located in a former residence, built in the 1930s and later expanded with the addition of three new studio spaces. The OAC has a 40-year legacy of providing fine art and cultural experiences for adults and young artists through art education, exhibitions and events in Northeast Ohio communities. The Orange Art Center serves the Orange City School District and beyond.

Job Description + Title

The Orange Art Center is seeking an Arts Administration Marketing Assistant to join our creative team. This professional will have a demonstrated work history in developing and executing a marketing campaign with the primary goal of reaching and engaging new constituents. This part-time position’s core responsibility is the strategic promotion of gallery exhibitions, programming, events and fundraising through marketing collateral, web management, social media, e-blasts and press/media communications.

The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in design, writing content/editing, research, analytics, time management, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office. Working with arts and cultural organizations is a plus. The preferred requirement for this position is a Bachelor’s degree in liberal/visual arts, business and/or marketing and communications. This position’s work schedule is flexible and the compensation is competitive.
