Destyni Green is an artist, writer, and arts administrator born in Cleveland, Ohio. Her art and writing practice investigates the home, generational cycles, and family narrative. Destyni holds a BFA in Sculpture and expanded Media with a concentration in creative writing from the Cleveland Institute of Art and a Master's in Art Administration from the University of Kentucky. Green’s artwork has been shown in Cross Generations, bridging the gap of artists at The Morgan Conservatory, New Beginnings at Waterloo Artsand the virtual exhibition Handled With Care. Her artistic achievements include curating the virtual outdoor sculpture tour Art in our Midst: African American Sculptors to Know, which was featured on the Emmy award-winning arts show Broad and High. 

Over the past 6 years working in arts administration, Destyni has grown a robust skill set including marketing + communications, programming, operations, JEDI strategies, and scholarship development. Destyni actively participates in the field of art administration here at OAC and nationally through her roles serving on the board of the Association of Art Administration Educators (AAAE). Her recent achievements include co-planning the inaugural Women’s Perspectives in Arts Administration Symposium and presenting at the Social Theory, Politics, and the Arts Conference in 2023.
