SUMMER ART CAMP 2025
The ORANGE ART CENTER (OAC) is excited to share the Summer 2025 Art Camp enrichment programs that will engage your camper in artmaking. Each week has something new to offer; let your imaginations run wild, and join us as we discover a whole new world of artmaking and friendship-building!
Art Camps are offered half-day mornings from 9:00 -11:30 am and afternoons from 12:30 - 3:00 pm each week. Sign your camper up for morning and afternoon sessions to receive a full day of art camp for more projects, games, and fun! Bonus: full-day sign-ups receive a supervised lunch and recess hour in between camps free of charge (applies to Orange Art Center camps only). All art camps will be held at Orange Art Center to provide your campers with a real artist experience!
Important Dates:
Resident Registration opens: Monday, January 27 at noon
Nonresident registration opens: Monday, February 3 at noon
Early Bird Special will be applied at checkout if registered by March 14
Deadline for refunds is Friday, May 9, 2025
No Art Camp on Juneteenth or July 4
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WILL THERE BE TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED BETWEEN ART CAMP AND OCER CAMPS?
There will not be transportation available between an OAC Art Camp and an OCER Camp; all transportation between camps should be scheduled by parent/guardians in advance.
WHAT IF MY CAMPER IS ENROLLED IN LION’S CLUB?
Campers enrolled in before care are picked up by an OAC staff-person no later than 8:50 am. The OAC staff will walk with your child from Lion’s Club at PPLC to the OAC for Art Camp. If rain is expected; please dress your child appropriately as we will be walking about 10 minutes to OAC.
Campers enrolled in extended care will be escorted by an OAC staff to the extended care location around 3 pm (typically hosted at the outdoor pool in good weather, otherwise held at PPLC). If rain is expected; please dress your child appropriately as we will be walking about 10 minutes to PPLC/Outdoor Pool.
WILL MY CAMPER ONLY BE MAKING ART ALL DAY?
Your camper will indeed have a large focus on art making throughout their day, but there are also plenty of other activities scheduled such as friendship building activities, outdoor playtime and exploration, and games!
ARE THERE FULL DAY OPTIONS?
Yes! Camps are designed in “ half-days” ( one at 9:00 - 11:30 am and one from 12:30 - 3 pm); to do a full day of camp, just sign up for both half-day sessions for that week! Bonus: full-day sign-ups receive a supervised lunch and recess hour in between camps free of charge (applies to Orange Art Center camps only).
what are the grade limits for summer art camps?
The grade limits for Summer Art Camps are for the current academic year. For example, if your child is currently in 2nd Grade, they would be best fitted in the K-2 Summer Art Camp!
Where are the Summer Art Camps Located?
The Summer Art Camps are located at Orange Art Center, 31500 Chagrin Boulevard, Pepper Pike, OH 44124.
should I pack a lunch + a snack?
For full day campers, yes, it is required to pack a lunch and snack! Please note that campers there is limited access to a refrigerator and that the Summer Art Camps are a nut-free environment.
HOLIDAYS?
There will be no Art Camp on Thursday, June 19, or Friday, July 4 due to observed holidays.
