OAC SELECTS SNACK BREAK STUDIO FOR 2025 ART FEST COMMUNITY MURAL

Orange Art Center is proud to announce Snack Break Studio as the artist team selected for the 2025 Orange Community Art Fest community mural. The Moreland Hills Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) Commission led the selection process and chose Snack Break Studio for their creative vision and experience leading collaborative murals.

Snack Break Studio is the partnership of graphic designer Kim Lavery and painter Roni Callahan. Their bold and dynamic work includes large-scale murals and installations that bring people together through art.

As part of the inaugural Orange Community Art Fest on Saturday, August 16, 2025, Snack Break Studio will lead a live, collaborative mural painting at the Orange Art Center. Community members of all ages are invited to participate. The artists will guide the painting process throughout the day. The mural will reflect themes of connection, unity, and creative expression, celebrating the vibrant spirit of the Orange community.

The mural will be painted on six individual panels during the event. After the event, the completed panels will be displayed at different locations throughout the Orange City School District community:

  • Orange Art Center – Division of OCER

  • Orange Community Education & Recreation (OCER) – OCSD Rec Center

  • Orange Village – OCSD municipality

  • Pepper Pike – OCSD municipality

  • Village of Moreland Hills – OCSD municipality
