CERAMICS WORKSHOPS
NEW! Ceramic Birdhouse Workshop Adults + Teens 16+
Create a charming ceramic birdhouse in this one-day workshop, no prior experience needed! You’ll learn the basics of slab-building techniques to craft your own unique birdhouse, with a focus on form, texture, and adding personalized details. Your piece will be glazed and fired, and students will need to make arrangements to pick it up 2–3 weeks after the workshop. All materials are included, making this workshop perfect for beginners looking to explore ceramics!

NEW! Wheel Thrown Planter Workshop Adults + Teens 16+
Create your own wheel-thrown planter with a built-in watering well in this two-day workshop designed for intermediate students with prior wheel-throwing experience. On May 6, from 6–8 pm, you’ll shape your planter and learn to create the watering well as part of a cohesive, functional piece. On May 20, from 6–7 pm, the second class will focus on trimming and decorating your planter, where you’ll refine its shape and add personal touches. You’ll also select your glaze color, and we’ll handle the glazing and firing for you. Students will need to make arrangements to pick up their completed pieces 2–3 weeks later. All materials are provided!

NEW! A Room of One's Own: Ceramic Workshop Adults + Teens 16+
Design and build your own ceramic room of your own in this two-session workshop, where you’ll explore hand-building techniques, create patterned textures, and add personalized details. In the first session on May 4 (12:00–3:00 pm), you’ll construct the walls, floors, and furniture, shaping a unique space of your choice. The second session on May 18 (12:00–2:00 pm) will focus on glazing, allowing you to bring color and character to your miniature room. We’ll handle the firing, with finished pieces ready for pickup in 2–3 weeks. All materials are provided!

All skill levels welcome! Learn everything you need to know to make a gorgeous chunky hand-knit blanket in just a few hours! Guess what? No knitting experience is needed! We’ll guide you step-by-step through this and will support you with all the tricks to master the skill of creating chunky blankets just using your hands. A supply list will be provided at registration.

NEW! Blooming Paper Flowers in a Hand-Built Clay Pot Workshop Adult + Grades 10-12
In this one-of-a-kind collaborative workshop, guided by two expert instructors, you’ll create two hand-built clay pots using one of three templates, learning essential pottery techniques like scoring, slipping, and slab construction. After adding your personal touch with decorative glazing, your pots will be fired and ready for day two, where you'll craft stunning, lifelike paper flowers that never wilt. You'll explore color combinations, textures, and sealing techniques to design a breathtaking arrangement that perfectly complements your handmade pottery. Whether you're a seasoned artist or a beginner, this unique, hands-on experience blends ceramics and paper artistry into a beautiful, everlasting creation you'll be proud to display!
